formation. They are discerning their call to Religious life as
Oblates of St. Francis de Sales.

Erik Edgardo Jorge Aké, OSFSErik
is from Cosgaya, Merida, Mexico.
He first met the Oblates in 1990, while in Merida. Erik
started the formation program through the now-South American
Province in Ecuador in 2003. While in Ecuador he studied
philosophy for three years and he had the opportunity to study
Portuguese. Currently Erik is studying philosophy at Siena
Heights University in Adrian Michigan.
Robert
Lockwood, OSFS
Bobby is a native of Delaware and graduated
from Salesianum School in Wilmington. Bobby graduated from
DeSales University with a B.S. in Clinical Psychology and earned a
M.S. from Villanova University in Counseling Psychology.
Before joining the Oblates, he was a professor at DeSales University
and practiced as a psychotherapist. Bobby is currently
studying in the Masters of Divinity program at St. Michaels College
in Toronto Canada.
Joseph
Newman, OSFS Joe is
originally from Toledo, Ohio. He first met the Oblates while
attending St. Francis de Sales High School in Toledo, Ohio.
Joe continued with an Oblate education attending De Sales University
and graduated with a B.S. in biology. After graduation Joe decided
to enter the Oblates as a Postulant. Joe is currently studying
in the Masters of Divinity program at St. Michaels College in
Toronto Canada.

Bro. David, OSFS
David comes from Sydney,
Australia. Before joining the
Oblates, David worked for the Australian Red Cross
and the St. Vincent de Paul
Society. David has a Bachelors degree in applied science and two
Masters degrees in education. He first met the Oblates in 1994 when
he started employment at Camp de Sales.
David is currently teaching at Lumen Christi High School in
Jackson Michigan.

Nathan Boltz, OSFS,
is a scholastic from Toledo, Ohio. His home
parish is Our Lady of Lourdes in Toledo, Ohio. He
graduated from St. Francis de Sales High School in Toledo, Ohio,
and from the University of Toledo where he majored in Religious
Studies. Nate served on the faculty of Lumen Christi in
Jackson, Michigan, during the 2005-2006 school year. Nate
made his first profession on June 29, 2007, and is currently
studying theology at St. Michael's College in Toronto Canada.
Daniel
Lannen, OSFS, is a scholastic from Holland, Michigan. Dan
grew up attending St. Francis de Sales Parish in Holland but never
met the Oblates of St. Francis de Sales until attending Siena
Heights University in Adrian, Michigan, where he studied Fine Arts.
Dan served on the faculty of Lumen Christi High School in Jackson,
Michigan, during the 2005-2006 school year. Dan made his first
profession on June 29, 2007, and is studying theology at St.
Michael's College in Toronto Canada
Rudi
Schwarzkopf, OSFS, is a
scholastic from Toledo, Ohio. His home parish is St. Thomas
Aquinas on the Eastside of Toledo. He attended St. Francis de
Sales High School and Bowling Green State University where he
majored in Social Studies for Secondary Education. Rudi served
on the faculty of Lumen Christi High School in Jackson, Michigan,
from 2004-2006 as a postulant. He made his first profession on
June 29, 2007, and is currently studying theology at St. Michael's College in
Toronto Canada.
