What is Awareness?
Awareness is a retreat and question and answer weekend for young men who are seniors or juniors in high school. High school graduation presents many possibilities for graduates: college life, moving, working. Many young men are not always aware that they can and should consider becoming an Oblate brother or priest! Awareness helps make seniors and juniors in high school aware of the possibility of Oblate life as a choice and a commitment as they prepare to enter a new stage of life and discernment. Seniors are invited to become Oblate Associates during the Awareness weekend. Contact the Vocation Director for more information There is no cost to attend.
"Come and See" At spring gatherings that take place in difference regions of the Toledo-Detroit Province, join the Oblates for dinner and discussion about what a Vocation to Religious Life as an Oblate of St. Francis de Sales can mean for you and meet others who are thinking about life with the Oblates as a possibility. "Come and See" dinners will be scheduled for 2008 soon enough. Check back for more information! |
